New Year, New Housing Market

As we wrap up for the year, here is my quick recap and take heading into the new year.

Adelaide experienced 13.4% (as per CoreLogic Australia) growth in dwelling values throughout 2022, with the peak coming in July of 2022.

Heading into 2023, our advice to clients thinking of selling is to sell in early January 2023 to take advantage of the undersupply of property compared to the crowded late February/March market.

According to the data provided by REA Group and Domain the 1st of January has been the most active day for property views online across realestate.com.au and domain.com.au over the past few years.

The RBA doesn’t meet in January meaning we have around 9 weeks of minimal negative media around rate rises until the next meeting on February the 7th.
