Welcome, 40 days till Christmas (but whose counting) the silly season is well and truly here, the appointments and events are stacking up and the days are getting longer.
Over the weekend we went 100% at Auction, selling 14/14.
It’s gone from a fervent market in March/April/May to a hot market. There were some deals that took a lot of work to put together but the demand from buyers is still strong and the fear of missing out on a property is well and truly there.
The numbers from the weekend across Adelaide and the country are consistent.
The shift from the peak of the market is most prevalent in the expectations of owners, where they were achieving blown away, knock your socks off exceptional prices to now achieving their price.
There is still a lot of work to do between now and Christmas and given the level of interaction with property owners and buyers, I have no doubt the start to 2022 will be consistent with what we are seeing this year.
